To tell us it's bedtime for chickens!
Every evening, Melody hops up on the same window and starts pecking the window and singing. She stays there until someone comes to the window and says "Ok, Melody!" and then she hops down and heads over to the backdoor to wait to be carried to the chickens' coop in the garage.
She's either an extremely well-trained chicken or we are extremely well-trained humans.
